TC Find Files + OpenOffice

Post by *roberthr »

Hi,

it would be nice if TC woud have implemented a feature to search text inside OpenOffice documents. Those files are just XMLs in ZIP. In TC 6 it's possible to find file that include text if I checked Unicode and RegEx beside Find text fields. I'm glad at least this works :D

Or is there any other solution I have no idea about?

You have to check search in archives and add/modify this line in your Totalcmd.ini

[Configuration]
SearchInFiles=*.sxw *.sxc

Did that but does not help. Well it's no problem since I can do it with RegEx and Unicode checkboxes.

You'll have to restart TC to apply the changes.

Did that too but I found out what it was. I was searching for word with S Caron letter. I had to check Unicode for that too (since OO uses UTF encoding).
