Christian about Edit Path

Post by *W!ke »

Hi,

I think it's a nice feature but not what I hoped for.
Personally I find it odd to see paths opening in explorer when they are pasted to the commandline (if "cd " is not applied that is)
I now have scripts for it which fix this odd :) little thing.
But do you think you will add an option which let's people choose how they want paths to be handled in the commandline (opening in explorer or one of the panes)?
It also would be nice to have a larger commandline.
Maybe make it so that the path is shown above it instead of in front of it.

Let me know your thoughts.
Merci.

Greetings Mike.

I like the way the current Command Like works: I often write "."+<enter> to open the current folder in explorer.

No Explorer anymore... :) Try again. "cd" is not needed anymore. And probably your script too...

P.S. Sorry for cross-posting, just wanted to avoid confusing people with W!ke's post :)...

I agree with you, though this behavior is "right", I can't see a lot of use in it. Anyway optional ability to change it is a good idea IMHO.[/face]
