Opening texts created in Linux

Post by *XChesser »

Hi!
I use Linux and all my texts are written in UTF8 by default (default encoding in Linux) with Linux line feeds. Internal editor of TC doesn't support neither UTF8 nor singlebyte line feeds, so I have to prepare files specially for the PNA.
Is there this feature in "TODO" list?

P.S. Sorry for writing it in the inappropriate topic first.

Unfortunately both aren't currently supported. I will consider it.

And what about a hexe editor in TC?
We are not so S.M.A.R.T. as we imagine...

Sorry, currently not planned. Just make a search for
"Windows mobile" hex edit

and you will find many! Install one, then drag&drop the EXE to the secondary button bar. Tap&hold with the pen on the button, then add these parameters in the parameters field:
%P%S

This will tell TC Pocket to open the hex editor with the file name under the cursor.
