Incorrect name in contextual menu of separate tree?

Post by *flo »

When i use the contextual menu of a folder in a separate tree appears a new entry in TC RC2: "Pack Files".

This entry create a new folder but it doesn´t pack any file. Moreover the name of this new folder is composed by "name of old folder"+new name

this entry is a funcionality that i can't understand or a bug in the name?shouldn't the correct name be "new folder"?

I think you've found a bug... or a hidden Feature.

For example, TreeView in:
C:\Folder1\SubFolder
Click on SubFolder and F7 : New
--> C:\Folder1\SubFolder\New
Click on SubFolder and contextMenu "Pack" :: Test
--> C:\Folder1\SubFolderTest

In the F7 case, the Dialog is prepopulated with "SubFolder"
and in the ContextMenu case, the Dialog is empty.

The "Pack" is opening an oddly functioning NewFolder dialog.

I can confirm the error, it should show just the "delete" item, not the "pack" menu item...

In TC 7.5 final, the option "pack files" doesn´t appear, so the bug is fixed
