CHMOD and file renaming

Post by *azzodiac »

Hi there.

- Is it possible to change the attributes of files, when you are connected to an FTP server (to change their CHMOD value) ?

- Is it possible to use F2 to rename a marked file, like you do in the Windows shell?

Thanks.

Menu -> Files -> Change Attributes...
I'm not sure all servers support this.

Configurations -> Options -> Misc -> Redefine Hotkeys
Leave the checkboxes unchecked and set the first combobox to F2 and the next to cm_RenameOnly and press the button.
Of all the planets I've been to, this one is my favorite.

I have used the CHMOD command through the Command Line and as long as I have the necessary permissions, I can do it.
