Hiya!
Am I the only one that thinks the QSearch feature has deteriorated/gotten worse? I've used 6.5x->7.0x for a long time and I must say that the "Letters w/ search dialog" option was better back then. I use it alot, eg. always! :^ Type a few characters, I also often press -> key to ie. enter archives and suchlike. Now, the -> key doesn't respond 'cuz the search box has become, err, should I say more bloated, sort of? So I need at least one further enter hit before I can "dive" into the archive. Couldn't you at least add an option "Letter w / search dialog (old style)" among options? Please? ;^
Regarding QuickSearch behavior?

It's already there,
or click the little ICON to the right of the dialog, now it works just like it used to.
INI File Settings:
And if you want Letters with the search dialog, and don't "filter" results, just work like in the past:Config | Quicksearch
[x] Letters only
Then IF it is filtering results, press CTRL+SConfig | Quicksearch
[x] Letters with Search Dialog
or click the little ICON to the right of the dialog, now it works just like it used to.
INI File Settings:
QuickSearchAutoFilter=0
0: Automatic quick search filter (Ctrl+S) disabled
1: Automatic quick search filter (Ctrl+S) enabled
-1:Like 0, but do not save state when closing TC (filter always disabled at startup)
2: Like 1, but do not save state either (filter always on when starting TC)

You can also use
QuickSearchAutoFilter=-1
to ensure that this option isn't saved when you close TC.
