Post by *slabam »

Hi,
I found problem with this new button on the left side of actual folder witch offer access to desktop, documents etc.. (sorry , can´t find some official name :-) ). TC crash several times when I clicked on it, (but i wasn´t able to recognize reason). I also meet this bug in some previous beta version. (Win XP Prof 32bit SP3)

Hello, slabam.

Can you try to launch T.C. 7.50 RC1 using an empty wincmd.ini, please, in order to find out if the crash will occur then, too?

Code: Select all

\path\to\totalcmd.exe /N /I="%temp%\fresh.ini"
(This is just a sample commandline)

Does T.C. display a stack trace when it crashes? If it does, can you be bothered to post the stack trace here, please. Thanks.

Kind regards,
Karl

This is a known problem which should be fixed with RC2. It's a race condition where a thread synchronization object is used before it was created. Please test whether you can still reproduce it with Release Candiate 2.

I could reproduce this problem in previous Versions, but couldn't anymore since RC2 up to 7.50a final, so (at least here) it seems to be fixed.
