Yes, it's Alt+F10. You can also use the internal command cm_CDtree.

I was using cm_CDtree in the button bar but decided to put it in the menu under "View" since I don't use it that often. That way I can free up another space on the button bar.

I found for the tree in a window (Explorer-like) Ctrl+F8

For the full directories tree, menu or button in the bar too.

The icon is not really the bonus, rather the extra menu "Interface" which avoids to go continually in the Options dialogs...
A last (stupid) trick: to save free-space on the button-bar, I reduce the icon-size by 1 pixel (31*31), the look doesn't suffers...

Have you checked out pdavit's menu? It has that, too, and a whole lot more. He pretty well covered everything in TC in his menu.
