Running Lister for some multimedia file (say, mp3), pressing the "Command menu" button, and then choosing "Command...", opens the command line for Multimedia Command Interface (MCI).
Information about the MCI is found neither in the TC manual, nor in the TC history.
Search through microsoft.com has lead here (and around), but many things stay unknown.
For example, the simplest commands "play", "pause" and "stop" work smoothly, but they can be easily given with a mouse.
Further, the "status length" command returns a number whose sense is not clear (except 0 at the file beginning). Almost all other MCI commands are either not recognized by dirver, or require some parameter.
So questions are:
1) Is there a list of MCI commands valid exactly in the command line of Lister?
2) Is there a description of results returned by MCI functions?
3) How do people use the MCI commands in Lister? Examples?

Could you please give some examples of the MCI commands?
MS documentation, as I've told, has of little use in our case.
