Read the readme and try it - it's the best way to check it. Remember that you can have both installed and easily switch between them pressing '4'.

- Imagine seems to support more formats
- Imagine convert files to more formats
- Imagine allows to edt palette
- Imagine has option to set file as wallpaper

Now that TC 6.0x officially supports multimedia plugins, I want to add at least one image viewer plugin to my addons page. Which of the mentioned plugins is the best?

There is problem to choose the best. Everyone is a bit different but in my opinion IMAGINE is the most powerful.
It also alows to extract frames from animations, convert them to avi, convert images to different formats.

IMAGINE has only 1 thing, that not be present in SGViewer: it's handle of *.ani and animated gif, in other way SGViewer more comfortable. Therefor I use both of tem
SGViewer's interface looks better, and I like its full screen feature. But it doesn't support animated gif, so I will stick to IMAGINE, it's pretty good too.

I've made a poll for it so let's move the discussion there.
The best thing would be if the programmers of the two plugins could put their heads together and come out with a single plugin with the strong points from both of the existing plugins ...
