I was copying files from 'network' drive to a local drive. Some explanation: I was running a virtual machine, local drive is a local drive within this virtual machine, network drive is a shared folder.
I am using Microsoft Virtual PC 2004 with SP1.
Host OS: Win XP Pro 32 bit
Virtual OS: Win XP Pro 32 bit

Thanks,
Saso

Difficult to say what is causing it, the error seems to happens inside the Windows function CopyFileExW which is used for copying the files.
