Hi all, I often copy files from my HD to an USB stick. But I only have 256 MB RAM and the files are sometimes 100 or 150 MB, which consumes my RAM.
I would like to copy with the least possible RAM, what do I have to specify in the Copy section of the TC configuration ?
I run XP SP2 on a very old PC (AMD K6/400).
TIA
Copy from HD to USB stick with few memory

Use the "big file copy mode" with a buffer of e.g. 1 MByte when copying between two disks. In this mode, TC bypasses the Windows disk cache when the file is larger than the specified size.

No, otherwise the buffered method is used again. But make sure the buffer is large enough, otherwise it will be VERY slow.
