Thanks for your support. Unfortunately, I couldn't manage to make this work. I may be missing something. A video showing where to go/click around to achieve this would be greatly appreciated.
Also, I couldn't find any help about using TCMC.
Kind regards.

1. Add new buttonbar button, type cd in Command field, then type path to be set in active panel into Parameters field and path to be set in inactive panel - in Start path field. Select any icon and hint. Done, use button to set both panel paths.MCHAL wrote:Thanks for your support. Unfortunately, I couldn't manage to make this work. I may be missing something. 2. Open in both TC panels folders you wish to save, then use Ctrl+D (or click * button above file panel) in active panel, directory hotlist will appear, choose Add current dir, enter entry name and check option to save target dir. Done, use saved directory hotlist to change both paths.
3. Just read the Read.me file in TCMC archive, you'll know that you should use following parameters:
Code: Select all
TCMC.exe cd "Path in left" "Path in right"
TCMC.exe cds "Path in active" "Path in inactive"
TCMC.exe cdst "Path in new tab of active" "Path in new tab of inactive"
Hi, MVV:
Thanks for your kind support. I would happily try out your directions on how to achieve this. Unfortunately, however, after submitting TCMC.exe to an online virus scan through jotti.org, I got this result:
http://virusscan.jotti.org/en/scanresult/b14d959ca7c12c65db1465e4a8b4cabb12a34292
So I am not sure I should run the risk of using the utility again...
Again, thanks so much anyway.
Kind regards,
MCHAL

Mal angenommen, du drückst Strg+F, wählst die FTP-Verbindung (mit gespeichertem Passwort), klickst aber nicht auf Verbinden, sondern fällst tot um.

That's why he stopped developing it, as too many people complained about bogus anti-virus reports. It's even commented on on totalcmd.pl.
It's a nice piece of code, and loads the DLL's it requires from the system --- not sure about Win98, but it has worked from Win2000 all the way to Win7. I've implemented it's functionality into my primary AHK Script and Libraries, but it does require at least a few hundred lines of code to be robust enough: granted my implementations provide more features... I'll still use TCMC for various things - Just like I still use some of my CMD.exe batch scripts and TCMenu.exe.
If you bothered to search the board regarding TCMC, you'd see many complaints about bogus Anti-virus reports, and MANY long-time board members vouching for the tiny-app and denouncing the lame anti-virus companies that can't be bothered to update their databases for a program that's FIVE years old now.

4 Year Bump. For the command-completion.
Also, Started new thread, for the "|" character for expansion of TC variables.

*BLINK* TC9 Added WM_COPYDATA and WM_USER queries for scripting.
