- Fixed : reset and hide track value when missing in ID3TagV2
- Fixed : Check RE and related messages are definitively removed
- Fixed : Update ID3Tag V1 values when playing m3u list

Hi!

I am sorry to report that though the new version of MMedia plays media appropriately, it no longer allows access of any kind (keyboard or mouse) to the tabbed panels of File Information, tags, options, info, etc.

The first panel (info) is visible but none are responsive.

Also, if I delete mmedia.ini, then MMedia does not display a media player at all, just the info panels (which still do not respond to keyboard or mouse). Some how that doesn't seem like the right behavior to me. Perhaps if there are no extensions in the mmedia.ini file then MMedia should at least offer to play the selected file in the lister.

Hello Franзois!
The new version looks great, especially with ogg tags comments displayed! :)
But it have some oddities. First it no longer allows to edit files no matter is it playing or not. It shows error messages. The files don't have R/O attribute.
Also, if I delete mmedia.ini, then MMedia does not display a media player at all, just the info panels (which still do not respond to keyboard or mouse).
Yes, i confirm, unfortunately new MMedia behaves that way. :(
I hope it will be corrected in next version!

Best regards.

Yes. I tried both modes and I confirmed the behavior on two different computers.

I reinstalled the previous version and all is well again.

Sorry, I should have mentioned: XP Pro.

Am I the only one with the problem? Not worth fixing just for me. I can continue to use the previous version.

between version 2.42 and 2.43 I changed the way the windows is displayed to turn around a bug in MFC lib. this bug is responsable of giving the focus to the lister when jumping to the next file.

I tested on some XP pro computer, and I found that
- in quickview mode, keyboard and mouse access was blocked until you press the "tab" key ( this will be corrected in the next version)
- in lister view, behavior seems to be normal

others reported bugs to be corrected:
- MMedia freeze when playing Video files whith WMP7+ interface
- Path and filename in 'File information' tab are missing
- save tag no longer work on MP3 file

a new version will be released sooner that I hope will correct all this bugs

Best regards

Another bug - When I have set option "Autoclose Lister" it crashes during closing it:

Code: Select all

"Access violation at address 018B42FC. Read of address 00000C90. (...)"
I work on WinXP Pro, it doesn't matter which player interface I choose.

Will this plugin plan to support APE and MPC format, along with APEV2 tag?
Most of my music files are of these kinds.

Hi all!

I hope this version fix most of bugs from the previous one.
for reducing the size, I use now ogg.dll and vorbis.dll which are in your system dir if you installed oggvorbis directshow filter.

What I fixed or changed :
- Added : delay-loaded ogg.dll and vorbis.dll
- Added : save now track value even if ID3tag is v1.0
- Added : saving a track value will update ID3tag to v1.1 if not
- Fixed : You can't save ID3tag
- Fixed : Path and filename disappeared, in 'file information'
- Fixed : doesn't take any input in QuickView mode
- Fixed : Freeze TC with movie when WMP9 interface is chosen
- Fixed : crash when autoclosing
