I post a similar topic before, back then i thought it only affected IME, it turns out affect all input operation. I am not sure it my personal problem or TC's bug, here is simply try-out:
a flash music game. turn you mp3 to beat.

Upload any mp3 and play a few seconds. Compare with ftp transferring in background and not, I found the lag is significant, and if it TC's bug, it should be fixed

Sorry. It turn out a false alert...ghisler(Author) wrote:Does this flash game cause 100% CPU in task manager (Ctrl+Shift+ESC)?
A plugin make it. I download a new TC to test, everything works smooth while ftp transferring.
And this remind me: does TC has a Safe-mode? Start with no plugins and default settings, easy for user to determine whether TC's own issue or wrong setting, bad plugins...
There are command line parameters to set ini files to use:
If you set them to non-existent ones, TC will create new with default settings.
Code: Select all
totalcmd.exe /i=c:/path/to/main.ini /f=c:/path/to/ftp.ini
