Is there a way to disable the 'command line'?

Post by *pr0tahn »

First let me brown nose: I can't say enough how I love TC :)

BUT, I find I am CONSTANTLY accidently hitting left and right arrow keys instead of up and down while navigating files and directories.

The command line always opens when I do this... :/

Is there a way to disable it completely? I so rarely even use it, and if I want DOS I either use the menu option or load it another way.

If it's not possible now, please consider adding it, Christian? :) You were very helpful before when I needed big .rar file support :)

Thanks,

RestrictInterface=2
Does this parameter disables Command Line only?

Easiest way: Configuration | Options | Layout: Uncheck "Show command line"

Oops! Sorry!! This does not *disable* it! It just hides it. So it won't solve your problem!!

In HELP it says:

Code: Select all

RestrictInterface=	Disable parts of the user interface. Just build the sum of the following options:
1=Start menu
2=Command line
4=Buttonbar change
8=Drive right click menu
16=File right click menu
32=Directory hotlist change
64=FTP (CTRL+N, CTRL+F)
128=ENTER key (run programs, open files)
