can't copy from android to ftp

Post by *nalbe666 »

hello! I'm having trouble to copy files from my phone to remote ftp. for example, i tried to copy "tcandroidftp_b13.apk" from phone to ftp. progress bar isn't moved a long time and finally i'd got
"Write error
Error writing to target file!
///FTP/admin/tcandroidftp_b13.apk"
but no problems coping from ftp to phone.
what i do wrong?

wildfireS, latest TC and FTPplugin(passive mode on)

Where is that apk located? FTP cannot read files which are only accessible with root rights, so please copy the apk to your sdcard first.

Thanks, here we have the problem:

Code: Select all

2011-12-04 18:32:02 FTP:STOR tcandroidftp_b13.apk
2011-12-04 18:32:02 FTP:125 Data connection already open; Transfer starting.
2011-12-04 18:32:02 FTP:Upload
2011-12-04 18:38:17 FTP:425 Data channel timed out due to not meeting the minimum bandwidth requirement.
It seems like the server is dropping the data connection because the speed via phone is too slow!

Does it work with any other FTP client on your phone?

Maybe it helps to use a different server, e.g. FileZilla.
