TotalCommand and perforce/subversion/git/cvs

Post by *JeanArthurDeda »

Hi Guys,

We are working in a company that has a Total Commander culture. Meaning that every data operation is funnel through Total Commander. Multi rename tool is a popular friend. Currently I'm working on adding a revision control mechanism to our company (perforce, subversion, etc).

What I'm looking for is to find a way to use p4/git/svn/cvs on clasical Total Commander commands, like the ones that get log in the log file.

I know that is not that simple as saying it but we really need it. If you guys want to take this discussion to a different channel (professional support) please let us know.

Regards,
Jean-Arthur Deda.

For svn, you can use TortoiseSvn - it allows to check out files via right click context menu, and shows overlay icons also in Total Commander.

Hey ghisler,

Thanks for the quick reply. We're currently using TortoiseSVN but we're looking for something integrated with the multi rename tool.
Maybe the sollution doesn't have to be so straight forward, maybe we can do something on our side or I don't know.

Regards,
Jean-Arthur Deda.

Hi,
I am pushing this thread up again as I also have a very strong interest in accessing Perforce (P4) by Total Commander.
Any ideas how to do this?
Is there a new plugin on its way (maybe ;-) )
