My computer has a lot of directories and subdirectories. Sad to report, I do not have the tree memorized. How can I locate directories \xyz? Find Files doesn't seem to do it.

The default TreeFileLocation is the root folder of the drive.tcebob wrote:I do not have the tree memorized.
Starting with Vista, Windows does not allow to create files in the root of the system drive (e.g. C:\)
If you use TC 7.56a you can edit/add TreeFileLocation in your wincmd.ini, or you can use the actual TC8.0 beta:
HTHAlt+F10 tree: If TreeFileLocation isn't set, save the tree in the same location as the thumbnail cache on system drive and UNC paths
