set read only mode to specific tab

Hello

Is there any way to set read-only flag(but not file attribute) to all directories/files for a specific tab?

Any file write operation eg delete will cause to display a warning message?

I usually have source files in left pane and target files in right pane.
I often overwrite target files with source files(with overwrite = yes).
When stressed out i sometimes copy the other way round

Or is it available via a plugin?

I think you may share that folder with read-only access and then open it as network share via \\localhost.
