Remove confirmation when deleting file

Post by *tcebob »

I have removed confirmations in Options/Misc, but there is not a box for Delete File. How can I remove this irritation?

1. Use VistaDelete=1 (requires Windows Vista or 7)
2. Turn off confirmations in Recycle bin for the drives where you don't want confirmation.

Oops. I should have mentioned: XP SP3. Oh, well. . . .

It turned out to be in the Recycle Bin properties.

Interesting: when I select a file and click the Delete tab -- or enter Del on the keyboard, I get a confirmation box. But when I drag the file to the Delete tab it is deleted immediately. Are there two methods of Delete at work here?

I have removed confirmation in Recycle Bin.

Why don't you follow up in that post, in stead of using 3 posts here to do it ;-)

As you may notice from the above, I tried to delete the bad posts, with no luck. Sorry to clutter up the list, but I would have thought that anyone could see that there was a problem. I beseech the moderators to remove the offending posts.

What is a realistic time span for a post to die of old age? I made a new post because the old one was three weeks old.

When it's no longer relevant.

petermad,
Has it ever happend, that a post or thread has been removed during the last 9 years ?
Not to my knowledge, except for spam.
