Quick search directly without AltGr in Total Commander

Post by *mertnuhoglu »

Total Commander requires pressing AltGr with some letter to enter quick search mode.

Is it possible if by pressing any letter to make Total Commander enter into quick search mode? And making command line active when pressing AltGr with some letter?

Use Menu -> Configuration -> Options... -> QuickSearch - and choose "Letter with search dialog".

Notice Ctrl+Alt+Letters = AltGr+Letters

To set focus on the command line use Shift+rightArrow (or just rightArrow if you are not in Brief view or Thumbnail view).

You can change the hotkey for focusing command line by assigning another key combination to the command cm_FocusCmdLine - You do that in: Configuration -> Options... -> Misc. -> Redifine hotkeys (Keyboard remapping) - unfortunately you cannot set it to just AltGr+letter - but you could set it to use AltGr+space by assigning cm_FocusCmdLine to Ctrl+Alt+SPACE
