Copy-/delete- status-window size changeable

When copying or deleting files, (initiated by synchronizing, too), a window pops up and is showing what is done.

When mousing over this window's egdes, arrows appear for changing size, but they have no effect.
How about making it's size really changeable, so that more of the path can be read or smaller to reduce information?
