Corrupt Rar file.

Post by *bloodlust8 »

Could you please add a option to be able to say "Skip all" when unraring (internal) a corrupted file as at the moment it pops up with a error every time it comes to a corrupt file.

For resolving out given problem one of the best way is rar fixer. It can restore corrupted rar archives from any devices, tool doesn't modify archive info after repairing, it works with big rar files.

How to deal with corrupt RAR files?

Post by *R.K.A. »

Hi,
If any .rar file indicates any error message, that means that .rar files is surely corrupted. And as you mentioned, I think you got the same problem relating to your .rar files. You actually need a software program which can help you to repair your corrupt .rar files.
Few weeks ago, I used the demo version of Archive Recovery tool of sysinfotools, I was very pleased with the outcomes. Now I have its full version. Why don't you check its free demo version? :)
It will surely fix the errors relating to .rar file's corruption. Check it once.

Unfortunately the unrar.dll doesn't allow to keep damaged unpacked files - they are deleted automatically in case of CRC errors or other errors.

If you have installed winrar, you can specify the switch -kb after the target path. If the path contains spaces, but it in double quotes, e.g.
"c:\some patch" -kb
