Adding drives

Post by *partagas »

I have a Transformer TF101 connected to my computer. To copy files from my PC to TF101 I must use the Windows Explorer as Total Commander does not recognize the drives inside the TF101. Can you fix this? Thanks

If TF101 drives have no normal drive letters, you may access them via virtual folders only. Try TC command cm_OpenDrives or cm_OpenDesktop and choose device drive there.

Hi, folks.

For all ignorant people like me that did not know already: The Transformer TF101 is an Asus Android tablet machine which can be converted into an Android notebook with the help of a docking station.
As Android is Linux based, it does not use drive letters.
So MVV is right. Inside Total Commander use cm_OpenDesktop, navigate to (My) Computer. If you are lucky you will be able to access the Asus Transformer TF101 from there.

Note:
Instead of using the T.C. internal command cm_OpenDesktop, you can use the breadcrumb bar to navigate to Desktop or the main menu Commands => Show Desktop folder.

Kind regards,
Karl
