There isn't except of "Shift"+"F6" on directory root.

I defined "Alt"+"UA" for this purpose, 'cause it was free for now and it's similar to "Alt"+"DA" (for current panel history).[/face]

Is there a way to disable the 'active bar click-editing' feature?

I would like to be able to swich it on/off.

PS: Sorry to bother you, if it's a simple task to do so :?
I haven't been able to locate it.

There is. You can disable it along with inplace file renaming by "InplaceRename=0" or separately by "InplaceRenamePath=0" parameters in your wincmd.ini.

AFAIK where is no internal command to do it, so you have to edit wincmd.ini each time, sorry.[/face]

I mapped the LEFT cursor key to cm_editpath. The RIGHT cursor key is already predefined to open the command line. For me this combination is easy to remember: LEFT goes to the upper text box (the "TC address bar") and RIGHT to lower text box (TC command line). Furthermore the address bar can be considered as a special command line that supports only implicit CD commands.

Ok. "InplaceRenamePath=0" is, what I was looking for. :D

Thanks Black Dog.
