File rename using Shift+F6

Post by *golovan »

There is some issue pretty often. Graphical checkbox at the right of the file does not disappear and file is not renaming.

This can happen when you press the up or down button by mistake in the 64-bit version. I will fix it in the next release.

Thank you for answer!

I was not sure I used that buttons so I tried one more time as I am using left - right arrows there. And I got the same when moved cursor to the left (first symbol of filename). I only used left arrow.

OK The same is for right. If you move cursor to the right, you'll get the same.

Some bugs here:

1) TC 8.01 RC2 doesn't rename file/folder after using 'Backspace' key for deleting characters.

2) It also doesn't rename file/folder when typing numbers at the beginning of word for example: 1_main, 2_work etc.

1) NOT confirmed.

2) That happens when you use the left/right arrows. Use "Home", then it works.
