Official crash report

Post by *Peter »

Situation:
right panel on a network drive with VSD (Visio) files -> Ctrl+Q -> Crash

Second try -> second crash
Move files to local drive -> same problems

Test with other VSD: no problem -> maybe a damaged file?

Hello, Peter.

May I advise to confirm that the crashes can be reproduced using Total Commander 8.01? Total Commander 8.01 is the current version. No-one will be fixing Total Commander 7.55 in case Total Commander should be the culprit and not the IE plugin.

Cheers,
Karl

There seems to be an "out of memory" exception occurring within the stack trace.

Do you get an error with F3 too? What about Alt+Shift+F3 (plugins turned off)?

Yes. The window begins to open, the menus of Visio Viewer are displayed - then crash.

No problems. The file is displayed with its "binary content" (?).

Yesterday we open the file with Visio, and there was a crazy long number at the file-size: "Width 21, 3456334564332......"

I think I found it:

MS Visio Viewer 2010 has a problem with a Stack Overflow and security leaks ...
I de-installed it.

Thanks

Peter
