2b2: large XML, root, file copying

Post by *SimpleThunder »

TC 2b2 slow when opening a large xml file in editor. 1.03 was hung. Sample: mir.cr/18ZS0WWS

2b2 also can not use the root-privileges (in 1.03 checkbox can be enabled).

After copying the moves list of files, I was afraid that something has moved :-)

1. This is a known limitation of the Android text control. It's not meant for large files, or for files with almost no line breaks.

2. Only "root functions everywhere" fails, but you can still copy to directories which are only writable with root rights.

3. Sorry, I do not understand.

1. Root explorer shows warning and shows ~half of file; scrolling is smooth.

3. File list shifts:
I select agps_profiles_conf.xml and press "Копировать" ("Copy"):

After copying file list shifts:

3. Please try TC 2 beta 4 for Android, it should fix the problem.
