Hello Total Commander Help forum
I think, even if not absolutely sure, that start from ver. 8.01 I have the following problem:
In my config I have in Edit/View—Viewer for F3,
F3 = Internal Viewer with file under cursor
Shift+F3 = Internal Viewer with selected files
Now, when I click F3 to quick view no matter what kind of file, I get the file view but along with a Lister box with "Enter search text".
If I click Shift-F3 every thing is ok
When I switch F3 to be assigned to "Internal Viewer with selected files" I still have the problem
Have you any idea to fix this annoying behavior of the quick view ?
Thank you and hope you help me

Sounds like your F3 key is "boucing", which means that it is sending two key events instead of one. That's just as if you pressed F3 twice.

Thank you for your answer
I cleaned specifically the "F3" key (I have a very reliable Cherry keyboard), which I use with no problem in other programs) and noticed no change.
If F3 key is really bouncing I should get the same Lister box with "Enter search text" also when pressing "Shift-F3". I tried both many times after cleaning and it behaves the same.
Is there some other idea to fix this problem ?
The OS I use is Windows 7 SP1 32bit
Thank you for your help
