No mnemonics displayed in favourites menu

Post by *HAL 9000 »

I'm using mnemonics in my favourites menu, but there's an annoying bug. When launched from * button, underlines are not getting rendered. Ctrl+D doesn't have this problem, though.

"Control Panel\Ease of Access\Ease of Access Center\Make the keyboard easier to use"
--Maker it easier to use keyboard shortcuts---
[x] Underline keyboard shortcuts and access Keys

That helped, thanks. But I still find it strange for the same dialogue to have different rendering.

HAL 9000, it is dumb Windows that underlines shortcuts in menus only when you open them via keyboard. But that option happily disables shortcuts hiding.

And in case anybody is using Windows XP the same setting is hidden under:
Control Panel -> Screen -> Appearance -> Effects -> "Hide underlined letters for keyboard navigation until I press the Alt key"

Mal angenommen, du drückst Strg+F, wählst die FTP-Verbindung (mit gespeichertem Passwort), klickst aber nicht auf Verbinden, sondern fällst tot um.
