How to activate plugins?

Post by *itsTerrible »

I've installed the VirtualDisk (mount iso) plugin, and the Uninstaller (uninstall programs) plugin. Both are .wfx plugins.

How do I access them? I tried r-clicking on an iso, but there isn't any option to use the VirtualDisk plugin.

And, I can't find a way to access the Uninstaller plugin anywhere.

Thanks in advance!

You can access any installed wfx plugin in Network folder ("\" button right to drive buttons).

Hello,

under classic windows is button "" working properly, however under WinPE 2.0 isnt. Is there any other way how to run wfx? Or exists any fix which solve inactive "" button?

Works fine for me in both Windows XP PE and Windows 7 PE, so I'm sure will work in Windows Vista PE too, please check your configuration and maybe try with clean INI (try installing plugins directly within PE).

Yes, you're right, under XP PE and PE 3.0 is "" button working properly. But, under PE 2.0 isnt. Ive tried to do clean install (instead of copy of Toalcmd directory from another system), however result was the same. I suppose location of INI file is not important for this troouble.

You're right, checked it with Vista recovery CD, network button on drive bar doesn't work (I click it but nothing happens, TC doesn't switch to network) so list of WFX plugins can't be viewed.

But you still able to access WFX plugins via their names, e.g. in case of my Virtual Panel plugin I can enter it using cd \\\Virtual Panel\ command. I think you should create drop-down buttonbar button with commands to enter each WFX plugin that you're using (or you may use directory hotlist Ctrl+D for such task).
