Installing both x86 and x64 in the same folder?

Post by *harrismail »

I have a 32bit installation of Commander on a 64bit PC which works fine, but I have now downloaded the 64bit installer and installed it to the same folder as the 32bit.

My question is can I just "choose" which one to run by either launching the Totalcmd.exe or the TOTALCMD64.exe - in other words will they coexist happily together in the same folder or do I need to install just one or the other?

Yes, no problem.
In the future use the combined installer to update both versions.

Can both versions use the same wcx_ftp.ini and wincmd.ini files?
