In a corporate setting I always need a way to get the UNC path to files that I need to share with others. This would be a great feature to add.

Personally I would strongly agree.

Yet, I am totally sorry to say: It will not be possible to add such a feature to Total Commander ...... because ..... the feature has been added to Total Commander quite a while ago.

Have a look at the internal Total Commander command cm_CopyNetNamesToClip. It copies names including their UNC paths.
It can be called directly by typing it in the Total Commander commandline.
It can be added to the Total Commander buttonbar.
It can be assigned a keyboard shortcut.

And yes, you could even modify the main menu file and add the command cm_CopyNetNamesToClip to it yourself.
