Unsmooth TV streaming with TC.

Post by *hehkll214 »

Hi

When streaming TV on my PC (running adobe flash player), a slight jerkiness is detectable, although subtle. Still, it's enough to force me to switch back to windows explorer, where playback is 100% perfect. This is running Firefox 18.0.2.

I should also mention that with Chrome, around 60% of websites freeze on their homepage, so you cannot scroll at all- although you can still continue surfing other sites. I don't use Chrome, however.

Any advice appreciated, as I am new to TC and am not aware of any set up procedures that need to be implemented.

Thanks!!

System: TC (64), Laptop (i3 sb, intel HD 3000), Intel 310 SSD (msata), Windows 7 64bit, 8GB

Could you explain how you are trying to play streaming video with Total Commander? Do you use a Lister plugin? TC cannot stream video out of the box.

Hi

I'm just referring to any flash-based content from within my browser (FF), be it you-tube links, tv streaming etc- when using TC.

I don't currently use any plugins

Sorry, I still don't understand how playing a video in Firefox is related to Total Commander. Do you mean that it's jerky while TC is copying files in the background? If yes, you can try to use the queue (F5 - F2) and set a speed limit.
