Hi,
I seem to have found a bug in 7.56a that is fixed already. I could not find any reference to a Solid State Disc in the release notes, so I thought I can ask it here.
In 7.56a (32bits) I discovered that deleting a large amount of small files (200+) on a SSD resulted in a cumulative slower progress bar, where the Windows Explorer did not have any problems with. Deleting 4,800 small files took more than 2 hours.
This behaviour was presented on a 32-bit XP-machine with a SSD and on a 64-bit Win7-machine. TC8.01 (x64) does not seem to have this problem.
Does this sound logical, given the amount of fixes between 7.56a an 8.01??
Thanks in advance for replying.

Unfortunately the faster function is only available on Windows Vista and newer. You can use the Explorer delete method on XP: Configuration - Options - Copy/Delete - Use Explorer delete method.
