Changing folder tabs

Post by *ricsip »

Hi all,

I noticed a minor GUI issue while changing some of my folder-shortcut tabs:

when you select: Rename / Lock tab: --> in the new dialog box you can select if:
- Lock this tab OR
- Locked, but directory changes allowed

The choice here is between the 2 options is mutually exclusive (you can have either selected, but not both at the same time), so it should be a radio button instead of the -currently implemented- checkbox control.

Do you agree?

Hi ricsip,
You cannot unselect a radio button.

Roman
Mal angenommen, du drückst Strg+F, wählst die FTP-Verbindung (mit gespeichertem Passwort), klickst aber nicht auf Verbinden, sondern fällst tot um.

Hi,
in that case maybe an additional top level checkbox-type control should be added for example: "Enable locking", and if this one is checked, sub-section with the aforementioned 2 options can become active and mutually exclusively selected via radio buttons.

It is too complicated. And it will require more than one click to enable any lock option.
