Moving folders - Keeping date

Post by *jeff_2038 »

Hi,

I want to move files to a new computer, and I would like to keep the date of my folders. I know that Windows creates a new folder with a new date when you move files. Does Total Commander acts the same way?

Thanks

TC has to follow the rules of the filesystem.
In case of NTFS the folder gets the date of the latest copy action.
But TC is far smarter :)

Just tick option "Configuration - Options - Operation - Copy/Delete : Copy date time of directories"
This will normally do the job.
