Keeps asking for admin rights in Win 8

Recently upgraded to Win 8 64-bit from Win 7. Now TC keeps asking for admin rights before it will allow me to delete or move certain files. How do I get rid of these restrictions? Thanks.

That's a Windows 8 "feature", it has nothing to do with TC.

Thanks, but that's not it. One of the first things I did was to turn UAC completely off. Didn't help with this issue.

Your user account does not have permissions to delete those files. Either run Total Commander as administrator or change permissions for the files.
