TC does not remember network drive

Post by *adacom »

i have a nas - if i map this drive - give it a drive letter and tick reconnect at sign in it is/was fine on a windows 7 system - have just updated to windows 8 and when i open TC it has forgotten the network drive and i have to start again - its fine for that session - its also fine if i close TC and re open it but at some time later the network drive has gone

not sure under what circumstance it disappears - not worked that out yet

i have a usb stick in a router that is also mapped as a network drive that is always available

i am assuming this is a windows 8 problem - must be - but i cannot work it out

anybody else seen this

Are you running TC "as administrator"? Network drives are user-specific.
