An unhandled exception occurred at EControlC: Control-C

Post by *Plus200 »

Every now and then I keep getting the pop-up saying:

Title: Error
Body: An unhandled exception occurred at $0EControlC: Control-C hit

and then 10 more lines like that with some memory addresses.

When clicking "OK" I'm getting a similar message and so on.
Sometimes it ends after 20 clicks on OK, sometimes it goes on forever, until I kill the totalCMD from the task manager.

Any ideas?

I have screenshot of this pop-up message if it helps.

Please press Ctrl+C in the popup message, then paste it here in the forum with Ctrl+V. This is much more useful than a screenshot.

Seaching with Google for
"EControlC : Control-C hit"

seems to indicate that this is caused by floating point exceptions in the SSE command set in a third party dll, probably an Explorer extension.

Please try with TC 8.50 beta. I'm now clearing SSE exceptions after calling third party dlls. Unfortunately it's not possible to catch all, but it should improve the situation.
