I know this question has been asked before, but I was only able to get search results that were a few years old.
So I'm asking again and hope something has changed
Is it possible to shorten the delay before the context menu appears? I don't want to disable right click selection. But the delay seems too long.
You can use special 'Application' key on your keyboard that opens context menus in Windows. Also you can assign any shortcut for command cm_ContextMenu...
But I agree that it would be nice to have such option.
If it was possible, I would shorten it for myself too. I'm fast as lightning and waiting for that menu to appear always makes me want to take a coffee break. ;)
But I also have one different idea, inspired by new IconClickSelection option. I don't like that one much, because while it's probably nice in left selection mode, in right selection mode (which I prefer) it seems useless and potentially annoying. But what if TC had similar option intended for right selection mode, which would make right menu appear instantly (zero delay) if user right-clicked on icon? The rest of the line would still use delay.
