I want delete files by F8 - not shift

Post by *totalmaster »

I really needed to instal win 8 - OMG ITS SUCH A PILE OF sh** but I need to use it for a few weeks.

What to do to delete files just like in old TC 7.5x by just pressing F8 ?

Cause now I have 8.1 (CMA pack 0.61) and need to use shift + F8.

I want my F8 back!

You are really impatient.
And sorry I do not know how to do it. I use shift F8 to delete without recycle bin.

I use Win 8.1 and there is nothing special with F8.
It works as always in TC 8.50b12

May be you have some other software using F8 globaly.

totalmaster,
If you want to delete files w/o recycle bin by F8, go to Configuration, Copy/Delete and uncheck option "F8/Del deletes to recycle bin (Shift=directly)".
Also note that you can use Del key instead of F8, or assign any other key in Configuration, Misc.
