cm_FileSync tc 8.50 rc2 with rc3 shows no difference.
Have I missed something?

The archives for RC2 and RC3 are definitely different and so are some of the files.
So what is your real question ?

Make sure that the buttons -> <- =/= dupes singles are all pressed, otherwise the sync tool will not show files which fall into these cathegories.

I install 850_rc3 in folder rc3 and 850_rc2 in folder rc2.
all buttons are press.
except "Empty directorie" and "ignore date" checkbox.
cm_FileSync only show wincmd.ini is difference.

Asymmetric If this option is checked, it is assumed that a copy of the left side should be created on the right side. Files which do not exist on the left side will be marked for deletion on the right side. This option is meant for backups.

Your right side has newer files(rc3) than the left side(rc2).
In assymetric mode the left side is the source while the right side is the backup.
What do you expect if your backup is newer than your source?

Uncheck Asymmetric or press <Ctrl+U> before calling "Synchronize directories".
