I have a NAS mounted in total commander.
Transmission torrent is running on the NAS download automatically, and when download is completed sometimes I don't see the new folders and files.
Even when I exit and reopen total commander I still can' see the folders. I have to wait a few minutes or the faster way to create a new folder in the download dir and new downloads magically appear.
Did I miss a setting in total commander? Or this is normal and I can't do anything to fix it?

I can't provide more information. When flexget is downloading via NAS to a folder (on NAS) what is mounted, Sometimes I can't see the files for a long time. Not even after restarting total commander.
I can see files via SSH in Midnight commander (linux) but file is not there in Total Commander.

1) WD My Cloud running Debian 7.0, NAS server
2) Mounted/attached as network drive in W7 x64
3) PUTTY->SSH->MyCloud Linux->Flexget(transmission) download a torrent into the Download folder on My Cloud
4) I Can't see the new downloads even after restarting Total Commander (but i can see it through Midnight commander via SSH)
5) But when I make a new folder in download folder (random name) all the files magically appears.

There may be be some strange Samba setting for the Windows share inside of your NAS.

How exactly do you access the NAS? It sounds like TC is not seing the real folder contents, but instead some kind of cache.

You need to do a little troubleshooting, narrow it down a little. Let me give you an idea...
You have a problem with TC not showing files on network drive mapped from NAS. So you want to know if it's TC doing something wrong or NAS doing something wrong, as the two basic options. Looking at files using MC (no matter if you mean MC started directly on NAS or local MC connected to NAS using SSH/SFTP) and realizing they are present, does not help you much. It's pretty clear they are there, because where else would they be. :) Well, perhaps not, so it's not a bad step after all, but you need to continue. As it uses completely different protocol, it does not answer the question at which side the problem might be, when looking at network drive in TC.
So try Windows Explorer and see if it has the same problem as TC. It uses the same method for accessing NAS, so if you see the same result, there's probably something wrong with NAS. Or perhaps with your whole computer, affecting both TC and Explorer, but that seems less likely. But you can test that too if you have another computer.
If it looks like it's problem with NAS, try to go through all of its settings and look for some kind of directory caching. Or if you have access to complete NAS filesystem, look for file smb.conf, where Samba (program for Windows network sharing) settings should be. Look for some suspicious caching-related option. Or just post the content here and someone else will look. If it indeed is there, then it's another story, because usually the NAS system is not built in a way to allow users to easily change its internal settings. But at least you would know for what to look next.
