How can I remove the "Up" button in thumbnail view

I've got TC set up the way I want for the most part. When I download a new image into a specific folder, I want to see it displayed in TC. I've set the proper thumbnail size (800x800), and the sort order (newest on top). Works well so far.

However, at the top of the list is a giant, useless Up button. Double clicking on it opens the directory above the current one.

I want to disable / hide this Up button completely.
