Thumbs missing in copy-overwrite dialog
I'm having trouble getting thumbnails to display in the confirm to overwrite dialog using TC 8.50 32-bit. They displayed as expected using 8.01 32-bit. Here is what I am seeing, just icons for my picture viewer, instead of the thumbs.

As you can see, thumbs are turned on. Also, in Configuration -> Thumbnails, "Get from Lister plugins", "Use Explorer method", and "Get from Irfan-/Xnview" are checked. I toggled all combination on that configuration page without success. Thumbnails are still displayed properly in the panels, if I use Ctrl-Shift-F1, if any one of the "get thumbnails" options is checked. They just don't display in the overwrite dialog as they used to. Reverting to 8.01 brings them back.
Am I missing a setting somewhere, or has a bug been introduced?

It works for me (TC 8.5 x32 at Win7 x32). A have checked bmp, gif, ico and jpg, all of them works as should .... http://www.freeimagehosting.net/cczam

I'm also using Win 7.
I just tried other formats. It's working sometimes and not others. Further testing has narrowed the problem a bit. I wanted to see if it affected all formats, so I purposely copied a png, jpg, gif and bmp file to the opposite panel. After doing this, I selected all the copies and tried to move them over their originals in the opposite panel. I got the overwrite dialog and the thumbs showed as expected.
After that, I tried both copying and moving the copies over their originals individually. The thumbs will not display, if I attempt to move or copy images individually, but they work if the overwrite dialog pops up while moving or copying multiple selected files. Also, if I rename an image to an existing image name, using shift-F6, no thumbs show in the overwrite dialog. I never saw this problem in previous versions of TC.

"if I attempt to move or copy images individually, but they work if the overwrite dialog pops up while moving or copying multiple selected files." - I can't reproduce this, for me it works in any case.
Later I will check how it works at x64 Win 7 и x64 TC 8.50

Continued testing shows that it always displays the thumbs if I use F5 or F6, and multiple files are selected.
It fails sometimes, using F5 or F6 on individual images, (what's under the cursor with no selection). Temporarily disabling my virus scanner appears to fix this, so I'll exclude images from scanning and see if it helps.
It always fails 100 percent of the time when I use shift-F6 (inplace rename), and rename a file to something that already exists. Turning off the virus scanner does not fix this one. Nothing I've tried lets me see thumbnails if the overwrite dialog appears as the result of a single file inplace rename.
If I select multiple names, then press shift-F6, then check the, "rename each file separately" box, the thumbnails work perfectly.
