Need help with Regexp in file types dialog

Configuration->Color->Define Colors by file type->Add. If i want to define a new file type, i write regexp into field marked with red (see attached pics ) and it didn't work. Either bug in dialog or in dialog caption. The same thing in add custom columns dialog. I can't to define new file type with regexp in these dialogs (marked with red). Imho all is crystal clear.
