Is there a maximum limit to Total Commander thumbnail cache?

I'm asking because Windows 8 thumbnail cache gets deleted often if you have a lot of video and image thumbnails. Almost every day.

I like Total Commander a lot so far, but just want to make sure all my thumbnails are not going to disappear like they do with Windows Explorer.

Any info would be greatly appreciated -- thanks in advance!!

Total Commander thumbnails are only deleted when you decide it - you can set it up and manage it from "Configuration" -> "Options..." -> "Thumbnails":
1. "Copy/delete thumbnails with files"
2. "Compact thumbnail database"

Also, they are kept in 3 database files - unlike Explorers thousands of thumbs.db files
