If I select a file, the file name turns red. Why?

Recently, I upgraded to v8.5. I noticed that if I select a file with the left mouse button, the file name turns red. In previous versions, that only happened when I selected a file using the right mouse button. I would select with the right mouse button when I wanted to delete the file.

This is a change. Is this the way it's supposed to work?

The default behaviour didn't change.
In new version files become selected with left button only if you click on file's ICON.
You can turn off this option (or set any other): Configuration - Operation - Mouse selection mode.
